Justin Vernon locked himself up in a cabin for 3 months in order to recuperate from a bad year. During the isolation he made a couple of demos and the result was this album! Doesn't really surprise me that he had spent 3 months in a cabin, I mean it really does sound like he did haha! Well anyway.....great album :)
